The Moomins. That was pretty surreal. Actually, I seem to remember a few kids programs back in the 70s were a bit weird.
Must have been all that coke and acid they were taking.Comment

BBC2 did have some short films they showed repeatedly at about the time I got home from school, quite a few of them in French.Originally posted by zeitghostI remember when there was nothing on BBC2 before about 19:30 but OU programmes.
In glorious black & white.
Mostly because the telly was black & white.
"How" was excellent. They made science fun and I learned stuff.Originally posted by zeitghostAlso "How" and that programme that Serendipity Dog was in.
And, as mentioned previously, The Clangers.
And Noggin The Nog.
Especially Nogbad the Bad.
Have we done Muffin the Mule yet?
We love Muffin, Muffin the Mule.
And Cap'n Pugwash.
Back to the cartoons with "Four Feather Falls". Cartoons done with cardboard cutouts; when they walked they had three legs, a bit like the Isle of Man Triskelion.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment

I hardly watched any telly till I was in my 20s. I mean, we did have a telly in the house but I just wasn't into it at all. Most the nostalgia about telly from the 70s and 80s goes straight over my head.Comment
