When is racially-aggravated crime

Maybe you're all missing the point - it's not that a racially motivated crime is worse than a non-racially motivated one, it's that minorities are subjected to this kind of crime more often than us whitey's.

I believe the idea is to discrouage this by increasing the sentence if there is a racially motivated reason for a crime being commited. Dunno if it's effective, or even fair but I think that's the logic. Personally I'm quite happy to lock up and throw away the key for any murderer who commits this sort of unprovoked attack, whatever the reason behind it.

I believe it's still the case that the overwhelming incidence of crime perpetrated against ethnic minorities is by their own ethnic minority. And it's still a ludicrous premise, the guys who did this were animals and for whatever reason, they attacked somebody. It's the attack that matters, not any perceived reason for the attack.
I think life sentences are too long for them, though. I mean, how long does it take to build a gallows?
