ok - it's probably not going to win Best Album of the 90's but for me it does one thing which few albums can.
I can listen to the thing start to finish and not feel the urge to skip past a few mediocre songs.
The entire album has a certain consistancy missing from other albums which sometimes just feel like a collection of songs, rather than a proper album.

Definately a No. 2 or 3, but for me, No.1 in the 90's has to be "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" by The Smashing Pumpkins.

      Sensational, IMHO.

      The vegetarian option.

You are asking us to pick one?

I would have to agree the Blood Sugar Sex Magik is one of the finest.

I would have to also agree that Nevermind is also one of the finest.

Pod, and Thrills Pills and Bellyaches are very good. I have them both and they at the top of my list of favourites of all time but I am not sure that I would rate them above the first two.

OK, I'll throw another into the mix - The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion by the Black Crowes.

It's funny how Radiohead's OK Computer was routinely voted Best Album Ever in polls for several years after it was released, and now we've got to page 3 of just a 90s thread and it hasn't even been mentioned yet.

My choice would probably be Dream Of 100 Nations by Transglobal Underground, but there are quite a few to choose from, it has to be said.

Hard to pick just one from the decade.

                Early 90's :

The Orb - The Orbs Adventures Boyond the Ultraworld.
                Primal Scream - Screamadelica

                Mid 90's :

                Pulp - Different Class
                Jeff Buckley - Grace

                Later 90's :

Bob Dylan - Time Out of Mind.
                Radiohead - OK Computer.
"Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.

Massive Attack, Blue Lines or Mezzanine (I can't decide which is better - Mezzanine has more top tracks, but Blue Lines has Unfinished Sympathy which would win song of the decade for any right minded person).

                    Other contenders:
                    Radiohead, Ok Computer
                    Pulp, Different Class
                    Orbital, In Sides
                    The Chemical Brothers, Surrender
‎"See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."
