When I need tips on how to interpret the teachings of Christ I the last person I would go to would be a self confessed atheist – thank you very much.Originally posted by The Lone GunmanSo I cant spell, does it make it too hard for you to come up with a dazzling answer?Sola gratia

Sorry Chico but, now that we've found Xerxes, consider your contract as resident biblebasher on CUK terminated. You've blagged it around here for long enough mate. You aint fooling with the Alpha Course accreditation on your CV. You're a fake, a charlatan and a cheap one at that. Close the door on your way out.Originally posted by Chico"471 will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. 48He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."

Once more you compound your folly. Just because I am an atheist does not mean I do not understand your religion, some would argue that it gives me an unbiassed opinion.Originally posted by ChicoWhen I need tips on how to interpret the teachings of Christ I the last person I would go to would be a self confessed atheist – thank you very much.
I was not giving you tips, I was asking you to explain.
Does your religion teach that it is OK to kill or not?
If the answer is "not" then how do you align that with your support of killing terrorists and dodgy regimes. Would that not be a simple comparison to the parable quoted earlier?I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Chico, if you don't like answering questions from atheists, why not respond to Xerxes criticism of your non-Christian beliefs, eh?Hard Brexit now!

What is this groundhog day? You keep asking the same questions and you keep getting the same answer. In this instance persistence will get you nowhere. If terrorists obeyed the sixth commandment then there isnt a problem is there? The sixth commandment does not tell us to stand idly by while human life is taken. Does it?Sola gratia

I am afraid that in the words of the bible the commandment to which you refer simply says:Originally posted by ChicoWhat is this groundhog day? "Thou shalt not kill"
Try as I may I cannot find any addendum to these commands that suggest you can actually kill someone under certain circumstances.
I need an answer as the same applies to adultery, and the young secretary in the next door office cannot wait for me any longer. In fact the irony is that unless I get on with it pretty sharpish she will be forced to seduce the rather smally, bearded systems programmer in the cornerLet us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

There you have it. Chico is a fraud and may be an agent of evil. I vote that we make Xerxes our resident Christian. He may have more interesting things to say than this nincompoop.Hard Brexit now!
