yup, the increase in weight and corresponding decrease in performance, handling and fuel economy are all worth it for that one afternoon in June when you can take a mate* from work to the pub with the top of the car down.

You wanted to take that fit bird from accounts but she made some excuse about hair washing. Ah well

Well, when I had my TT if it wasn't raining, the roof was down*. As it will be when I get the Caterham (and the Elise)




*the wife had to have a scarf so she didn't muck her barnet up...

If it not raining the heated seats are on and the roof is down. Except at night, seems a bit silly at night.

I've just gone SL55 ... had a M3 Conv before which is similar to the RS4 ... if you don't need the rear seats SL55 all the way...

How does the performance feel compared to the M3 (I assume you had the V8 M3)?
