I like disaster movies where the world explodes.

Or burns, covered in water, freezes... yadda yadda yadda. Can always rely of the SciFi channel in the afternoon for those.

          I watch horror movies.
Anykind of ghost, demon, paranormal, exorcism, torture, cannibalis m scares the tulip out of me but it's addictive.
Latest movie I watched was "paranormal activity" which was awarded horror movie of the year. Very scary.

I used to love all the old Hammers, scared the hell out of me. Not into gore fests though & generally don't like the American stuff - though I love the old Karloff & Lugosi movies. My all time favourite is The Devil Rides Out; great film.

I will have to check out this "paranormal activity". I think I'm beyond being scared by a film now but would truly love to see one that is genuinely frightening. I mean, they said Blair Witch & the The Ring (Jap version) were supposed to be scary but they didn't do it for me. I'd imagine though that The Exorcist would have been pretty frightening in its time.

                  I can't watch those.

It's where a drugged up 15 year old steals a car and runs rampage at 120MPH through the city streets, get caught and at the end of the show it says

"Darren is now serving 15 hrs community service and was fined £20".

I have a rant at the tv about the "the youth of today" but I really enjoy it when the driver tries to convince the cops that s/he has a licence and insurance, even when they don't come up on the database.

I like Ice Road Truckers too - loonies.
