They would have to be in the UK first to get those, your OP only speaks of those that have yet to arrive so are fictitious at this point in time and therefore not a cost to the 'system'.Originally posted by bekarovka View Posthousing benefit, income support, child benefit to name but 3

Well, if you want to go all the way back to my original post you will recall that it was all about the reasons new labour had an open door policy. Odd that I posted that just a day or so before the "rubbing the Right's nose in diversity" revelations.Comment

Funny, I thought London was the richest city in Europe and the UK still amonst the top 5 countries in wealth. I'd say that's pretty damn good.Originally posted by bekarovka View PostAnd we're prospering are we?
Easy to complain now that, somehow, you have become a 'native' eh? Your folks get in when really there were no immigration rules - shoot people hadn't even yet invented the word! And now its all boo hoo hoo when others - who have to meet some pretty damn strict rules - would also like to get in. If I met you on the street I'd call you a hypocritical B***ard to your face.McCoy: "Medical men are trained in logic."

I was born here ffs - my grandparents came over here in 1951. Don't worry, you're not the first to have such a prejudiced opinion. All over these boards, people assume I'm an Eastern European immigrant from the recent wave. Like yesterday I was chastised for calling the countryside "our countryside" as if I'm sone Johnny come lately foreigner. Astounding. If I was an Asian, I'm sure I'd be able to cry "Racism" at this point!Originally posted by lilelvis2000 View PostEasy to complain now that, somehow, you have become a 'native' eh?
