1,450,000 have moved from the EU alone to the UK since 2004, again according to official figures....

2.5 million from India, Africa, Pakistan, Caribbean during the 60 & 70's....

I could go on......

However way you look at it, your argument is fundamentally flawed.
Every country that has positively embraced immigration has prospered, counties that had a policy of discrimination didn't. Simple!

The UK is prosperous, again taking the big picture as an indicator and not a knee jerk view of the past few months & no reason why it should not continue to be in the future.

Think of it this way - if the UK was not prosperous why would anyone want to emigrate here??
