Shouldn't you be at home washing the skidmarks out of your husbands underpants?

Have you ever seen somebody lick the chutney spoon in an Indian Restaurant and put it back? This would never have happened under the Tories.

Only seven applications! I'm well into three figures by now. Seriously. Good luck finding a gig but don't hold your breath. There are tens of thousands of us in your position. With massive offshoring, IT is the new coal mining. And whatever you do MAKE SURE YOUR KIDS DON'T TAKE AN IT DEGREE.

You are Bapuss's mum and I'm Bob Dalek. Is it true that his bedsheets crack when you straighten them?

I think all of you have been very rude to this nice lady. Go and stand on the naughty step
Posted by: sasguru | 10/20/2009 at 01:45 PM
Seven applications? For IT work? Is that it? I do that a day and have been for months.
There is no IT work out there.

People who speed deserve everything they get. Being made redundant twice and having your life ruined is nowhere near enough punishment.
shame on you

I like films about gladiators

I speed all the time and haven't got anything yet, except to my destination quicker.
Mind you, I only speed on motorways. On A roads I drive like a funeral procession, and on country lanes like a rustic driving an overloaded tractor.

Anyone seen bagpuss? I love him so much.

I remember this one time I flew back from Rome in a Tornado, balancing a bowl of spag bol in my lap. Tally ho!
Posted by: Menelaus Mitty | 10/20/2009 at 02:01 PM
If you were a contractor, then you weren't made redundant. Short notice is why you get so much money per day.
Posted by: NotAllThere | 10/20/2009 at 02:02 PM
Ouch my bum hurts. But I have a new best friend.
Posted by: Menelaus | 10/20/2009 at 02:03 PM
I can be doing for plenty cheapness and much quickness.

Craig, your bum hurts??
you promised and promised you wouldn't sell yourself around the block just to please Bubba.
I am not sure whether to ever believe you again
Posted by: Helen | 10/20/2009 at 02:16 PM
Quite right too. As a banker the economy crisis was your fault.
As a speeding motorist you are a criminal.
Then you became a filthy contractor and whinged about being on a week's notice beside getting loads of money.
So you've been a flash banker with a company car, been given a redundancy settlement, earned loads as a contractor and you come on here moaning. How do you think real people feel reading tulipe like this?
People like you make me sick.

Bagpuss, Bagpuss, where for art thou, Bagpuss?
Helen.

Looks like you have a vacancy for a moderator. I can help you out with that. No references before the interview though, you scheming wenches.

"Interesting to note that ALL the comments to that post have now been removed altogether - they had taken on a life of their own and were at 90 odd yesterday evening! The parralel universe comment is as good a description of CUK as I've seen

Almost like a parallel universe replacing real life. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
