I took up the challenge of reading the BNP’s manifesto some time ago. Never done it before, why should I; they have nothing that appeals to me. Anyway, I don’t have a vote in the UK (I could, but I don’t).

What I found difficult to understand is why people call them ‘right wing’ – clearly they have never read their manifesto either. It is full of taking things into public ownership etc. It is ‘Old Labour’ + racism. This may be at the core of the Labour parties rabid hatred of the BNP.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

      What's difficult to understand?
What part of National Socialism (aka Nazism) don't you get?
      Hard Brexit now!

        Actually I don't get it.

They are National Socialists (racist lefties) so why are they called the far right?

Left wing/right wing don't really mean much. Political compass gives a better view. Especially the graph here.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

This bunch have just moved in where the mainstream political parties have alienated the electorate . An elected governments most important job is looking after the people who elected them, NOT massaging their ego's on the world stage.

Historically, the far right (Nazis and Facists) and the far left (communists) always shared certain economic traits namely their belief in state control of the economy.
They differed completely on certain other points but were also united in their contempt for democracy.

I'd move the three main parties to the left on that chart. Plus I'd transpose Lab/Con on the vertical scale.

Exactly. This is the real question, though I don't expect it will be addressed on Thursday. It will be one big shouting match for sure.

Whilst it might be fun to see the BNP policies ripped apart I dont really like giving the stupid twunts any airtime.

Of course I will watch the program.....
