How many troops should I make and of what type (I'm Roman)? I don't plan to raid farmers, just be a thorn in the side of big bullying alliances.

340. I've not raided anyone yet and most near me haven't raided me either. Just the bigger alliances on the server, but they don't get anything. I aim to build up strength and pay them back

you should have about 150 legionaries by now, divided into three raiding groups.
There will be players near you who have given up, if you dont get the booty, your enemies will. double delta.

Cool, I'll build the residence up to 5 first then. I've only just started building barracks, armoury, etc so they are only at level 5, so I suppose I should get them up to 10 first too? I have loads of crannies at level 7, which based on your past post seems I don't need, just build 5 of them to level 10. Shame you aren't on S6.
