do they have paddyfields in the west?Originally posted by helen View PostRight, you really are either dim or not reading. I thought you'd pick up on the reference to cows and paddyfields. And you're wrong btw.

Okay one final question, what are the 6 main drilling techniques used by the international teams in the big freezer
Hurry now Google awaits
I didn't do the deep stuff. I used a hand made drill and never went deeper than 20m simply because the drill and ice were too heavy for 2 people to lift deeper than that.
I do however know that one of the lubricants still used are liquid CFC's, which still makes me giggle as it sits inert under the ozone hole.
And I'm guessing you are now googling questions.Comment

Right, it's dim then. Tell me, do you eat rice? And it's a general allusion to methane. You can always spot someone who doesn't know a lot, because they cling wildly to one tiny specific fact without sufficient knowledge of the whole picture. Well done. Still, I suppose you're only I biologist...Originally posted by BlackenedBiker View Postdo they have paddyfields in the west?

You used a hand-drill in the Antartic to gain core samples for what? Do you have any idea how long it takes to deposit 20 metres of ice in that climate. What trends were you considering Global Warming since spring ????Originally posted by helen View PostI didn't do the deep stuff. It's the straw man approach. People here use it all the time.Originally posted by helen View PostRight, it's dim then. Tell me, do you eat rice? And it's a general allusion to methane.
