I decided to file in a Club Card with a fake name. Although I opted out of third party marketing, it was amazing what other companies got Mr Xs details. Mr X was even offered a credit cards (with very few questions) one of which stated you need not give bank details and pay direct into the account.

Originally posted by Tarquin Farquhar View Post5. The card records a level of alcohol purchases that is seen as being too high. Some medical treatment will not be available to you on the NHS.
But if you send this on to everyone you know, Bill Gates will send you $10 for each valid email you send.Comment

Losing your marbles? How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Ahh, the infamous "They", I'm pretty sure he doesnt mean these guys either. Starting to worry a little now.
You forgot to take your medication again, didnt you.
I take it all back. You're a Loony.
The data passes to HMRC should TBH not surprise anybody. It was reported earlier this year that a woman who regularly shopped for several elderly neighbours was investigated because she was buying more thsn her income would suggest possible.
What makes you come out with the offensive accusations of lunacy etc? Is it the technology that you find to be literally incredible, or the surveillance application of it? Because frankly I find it rather worrying that seemingly intelligent people think that this can not possibly be serious. Really.Step outside posh boyComment

I hate it that we get targetted marketing and vouchers on things we actually buy, rather than random things we don't. Gosh darn it, advertising that might actually be mutually beneficial. The Bastards.
I'd happily let Tesco know how long I* spend in the doughnut section in return for the 4% cash-back I get to use on restaurants.
