    Just keep bleeding them.

If you do it often enough, running between rooms to do it, then you won't need to worry about your radiators not working.

I've noticed a theme throughout the thread and many people seem to think it's really important to bleed your radiators.

Can anyone reccommend a good manual or DIY website?

Obviously first try bleeding the system of air.

              If that doesn't work...

Sometimes cold spots are the result of the radiators sludging up but you can usually identify that by the bolier making kettling noises i.e. like when you boil a kettle with a low amount of water. To properly flush you need speacialist chemicals, best left to a professional as you can end up doing more harm than good.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Despite all the piss taking there's some serious points here. If your system needs regular bleeding you have a corrosion problem. I seriously recommend the Fernox range of products.

                FERNOX

You should use the chemicals to flush and then to inhibit your system. When all is sorted and inhibited you'll never have to bleed the system again and it will be more efficient and a lot quieter too.

thanks, but I won't be doing it, once was enough on another place.

Should be getting some quotes tomorrow.

Now how Do I work out where these elusive radiators are?

does anyone know what they look like, does it tell you in the manual?
