How can it be worth buying Sterling when we are printing something like £3000 for each man woman and child in Britain per year and each of us will owe something like £30,000 to the rest of the world by the end of next year? Unless you mean in the short term because it's already dropped a lot?

It's dropping like a stone today - it's all red on the beebs currencies page

Another day and another little pay rise
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

        I preferred version 1!

The pound's weakness has become a key motivating factor in me wanting to stay in the country. If I go home and send my cash back to Aus it's going to cost me an absolute fortune! I sent some home last year at 2.55, I think I'm going to bring it back at under 2 and make a tidy profit.

Wow, it's dropping against all currencies (if I'm reading the chart right), even against other heavily indebted currencies. Way to go.

So where should we put savings to limit further shafting (apart from property)?
