does anyone want another small client?

Further to my last post in Business/Contracts, I've another fixed price project up for grabs. Hopefully there is someone out there who fancies having another client, something not too taxing that may break the monotony of their main 9-6 work.

It's a website - the design company has almost completed the page design, so the lucky candidate will need to be able to come up with the HTML page structure, chop up the graphics, make the stylesheet, build the pages etc. There are a couple of parts of functionality - a password protected area, a news archive, and a book review section where people can post comments.
There may also be need for a macromedia scrolling message on the homepage.

The content also needs to be bale to be updated by NUNs, so something very simple is required.

Surely there's someone out there who'd like to take this on???!!

See also my other post in Business/Contracts for the project for the charity....

please reply to this thread or send me a private message if you're interested.

    thanks.

looks a bit technical for me, is there time set aside for sitting around, post on this board, surf holiday websites, spend Friday afternoons at the pub and trade on ebay?

Please can you specify the essentials when you advertise a job, thank you
    Chico, what time is it?

Sounds like the sort of crap you should sub-contract to a complete novice.

Do you specialise in posting jobs for charities and Religious institutions? Maybe Chico would be interested in helping out some Nuns? Or if they're topless skateboarding nuns I'm sure you'd get some interest. Warning: do not type topless nun into google images at work...

no, I don't specialise in it, but some friends of mine did, and I've had a lot of small projects passed to me over the years that have been in that sector. This job, if done well, would no doubt lead to more projects of a similar scale.

I've found it very useful as a way of having multiple clients, something a lot of contractors feel is important (though not many on here, clearly!!!)

                  ;-)
