The time before last when we moved, we couldn't find the remote for the kitchen radio.

We hoped it might turn up after this move.

      But it hasn't.

      Have you got it?

This is like me with the keys to whatever place I am living in at the time. I have to have a place for them and they have to live there. So many times I’ve come in and thrown my keys down, but then had to spend hours looking for them when I want to go out. Once I lost them and found them underneth the television stand; they had fallen off the top and bounced off the cables and under the whole thing.

It is even more important for me to do this as I get older and the memory fails.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I have them voice activated ones. I only need to say "This is crap!" or "Isn't there something better on?" and often it'll flick through a few channels before alighting on something better.

Although it isn't brilliantly reliable and so I'm sometimes forced to wander through to another room and watch whatever is on in there.

I've had had Biros fall off a desk (launch actually) only to be inexplicably unfindable, at least not for Moons. This can defy rational explanation sometimes, as there are only so many places Biros could possibly hide. But after explorering them all for the nth time to the mth degree, they just have to be given up as forever lost and unexplained. They can spontaneously reappear equally as miraculously though, so whatever law lies behind this penomenon, it is a conservative one.

I've lost the BBC red button again. And a sock.

                Anyone?

The Red button is in the sock which you have washed so it has shrunk.
Look for a Red dot and a bit of fluff.

Is it one of those dodgy Missus-brand remotes?

I can't get mine to work properly at all.
