A 15 year old lass or lad is not a kid, not in my mind.

I know age limits have to start somewhere, but regardless of gender, a 26 years old and a 15 year old is not perverted in my mind. A bit odd, but not peado material.

Agreed. 16 is an arbitary age for 'consent'. In Spain it's 12 or 13. In Netherlands it's 14. They are not exactly backward countries either.

Teacher = Responsible Adult and therefore should not have taken advantage.

No matter how you look at it, age 15 is a minor and the individual shouldn't be having sex in the first place. I may be a prude but thats just an opinion and also happens to be the law.

In this country it's not 15 - and the law is the law, regardless of it being an arbitary age.

1) He/she is usually ruled by hormones, rather than reason
2) He/she doesn't have the life experience to know anything worth knowing

I believe that in Spain the age of consent is only 13 as long as BOTH parties are 16 or under.

this is exactly the point had the affair taken place in a few months then the whole affair would have lost its peado/seedy side and been looked at as an abuse of trust.

Add into that the quite clearly the younger girl was fully aware of what she was doing at that point then this becomes a non story.


I think those people on here who are implying that all 15/16 year olds are sex crazed bags of hormones are simply worng and out of touch with today's yoof


me I like to stay in touch with todays yoof - providing they are at least 16 and female! - having said that some of the 16 year old females are a bit scary - what do they put in the food nowadays.....

Yeah but she is still a Child and the teacher should know better....

I know lots of my friends were sleeping with b/f's at 15 but to be fair the b/f's were similar age. The teacher is in a position of trust and shouldn't have acted on it.

I went to a convent and when I was in 5th year (most of us were about 16/17) and we had a lay teacher (ie not a Nun) for History, he was doing his teacher training and we gave him a terrible time, I'm suprised any of us learned anything that year for all the innuendo that was flying about but even though we were all probably gagging for it, it would have been inappropriate for him to act on that as his position was such that it was a position of trust. It's just the way it is...
