If it had been *for example* a 26 year old priest, or a 26 year old politician, or a 26 year old scout-leader... would you still be saying 'they were in love...'? I doubt it - you'd already be standing in line with your pitchfork.

Unless the legal people involved in the case also used the word rape, I think we can dismiss that emotive term here too.
