Maybe worse than that. As someone pointed out, her life may be effectively ruined now. A life sentence.Originally posted by Platypus View PostYes, it may be wrong, but was enough harm done to warrant a jail sentence?
IMO, no.
To be honest she might not mind 15 months doing 'bird'Comment

IMO, it's a fair sentence for what's she's done.
It's sad, but she'll never get a teaching job (or position of responsibility) again which means she's completely ****ed her life, but she probably should have thought of the consequences when a 15 years old started coming on to her and she decided to (effectively) rape a child."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

The law is quite clear on the subject
Teachers should not be having sexual relations with pupils under the age of 18
Doesn't matter who instigated it
Doesn't matter that the teacher is a hot dykeCoffee's for closersComment

A 15 year old lass or lad is not a kid, not in my mind.
I know age limits have to start somewhere, but regardless of gender, a 26 years old and a 15 year old is not perverted in my mind. A bit odd, but not peado material.
WTBS... it's the usual chavy/media - fuelled frenzy/hysteria. There's a world apart between this and some balding, milddle-aged bloke fiddling with small kiddies. He deserves to go down ( to prision, you smutty lotOriginally posted by Platypus View PostYes, it may be wrong, but was enough harm done to warrant a jail sentence?

) for a very long time. In this case enough damage has been done to both parties here without sending one of them down for 15 months. Two people in love, not hurting anyone else and one gets jailed for it...
By comparison some scrote mugs an old granny somewhere (no links but we've all seen the news items over the years) and all he gets is a slap on the wrist and probably a paid holiday somewhere.Do what thou wiltComment

I believe sex with someone under 16 is called 'statutory rape'. What is moronic about using the legal term?Originally posted by Dark Black View Postanother fckwt
How is it rape...? moronOh, I’m sorry….I seem to be lost. I was looking for the sane side of town. I’d ask you for directions, but I have a feeling you’ve never been there and I’d be wasting my time.Comment
