Clubcard Special Offer On Stella I will Take Master Luke
I think this is a perfect opportunity for a rival supermarket to place a few ads in the press, proclaiming that "Jedi Masters and Acolytes are more than welcome to quench their spiritual and physical thirsts and hunger at <Insert Supermarket Brand Name here>.
Coming next...Jedi Loyalty Card.
Theoretically, a Jedi shouldn't need a loyalty card, however there have been one or two who have strayed in to the dark aisles.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
You'd think anyone who takes the Jedi thing seriously should be pretty tough from being a constant laughing stock every time they go outside. Being kicked out of Tesco can't be as bad as chavs throwing beer cans at you when you walk past the bus stop can it?

You've got it round the wrong way, dooohg.
Anybody, whether they are a Jedi or not, pretty much expects to receive abuse and possibly a stabbing from the local hoodie chavsters.
What they don't expect is to receive abuse from a public-facing retailer.
That's the difference.

Well done Tesco, for showing a sense of humour (the Luke Skywalker comment).
Do people of the Jedi 'religion' actually believe Jedi powers exist?
Yes how ridiculous... obviously not as clear cut as Moses parting the waves or Jesus returning from the dead.
Jedi don’t have special powers they learn to harness the power of the force... duh!!
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
