Hopefully they do not ask as the market is so bad that they will automatically think that is the reason for the void. As long as you can do the job and are willing to stay the course it really shouldn't matter to them but I do agree some people might be put off by the situation.

What a coincidence!

He is three months, he's brilliant and hard work in equal measures. Grinning and gurgling now which is ace. But not going through the night, and inexplicably having tantrums when he is offered milk when he does wake up hungry at 3am - argh.

That rings true here also (five month old), although not quite as bad now - it's starting to ease up a bit. But when they give you a great big gummy grin, it makes it all seem worth it.

Don't have much choice unfortunately, but it is not a decision I have taken lightly. I am on my own with the baby, and am not getting any support from his father (who, as the other Director in the Ltd Co, has taken £18k of the CT money and disappeared).

So lets see, a bunch of men are critcising a woman who has been left in the crap by a man and is trying to do the best she can.

I am quite certain that Ms Poppins will NOT have taken this lightly and I am also certain that she feels crap enough about having to leave her boy behind.

Oh and I really would not mention your baby in the interview, the interviewers may be a load of judgemental men - like on here!

Oh really, well done! It does, but not sure my friend felt that way when he projectile sprayed milk all over her new sofa, carpet and walls.

Thanks Pogle! The reaction is fair enough if people didn't know the exact situation - I never wanted to go back this early but as you say, needs must. I can't wait to start being able to create as big as savings pot as possible for our future.

Pogle jr was fantastic at the projectile vomiting - up until the age of about 2. It was so bad and so frequent, that we travelled everywhere with a load of thick plastic bags poised ready for when she started to cough, she'd start coughing and after a certain point we'd know she was about to hurl! We got really good at discretly holding the bag in front of her and catching it all!

I remember one occasion when she just chucked up all over me. I ended up throwing my top out - it was not worth trying to save!
