The purpose of contracting

Got an interview in BHam on Thursday, am nervous! Never been nervous for an interview before, but I am worried that having a baby and being away from work for a couple of months will have made my brain mush.

Am also aware that they might ask why there is a recent gap on my CV, and I wonder if when a new baby is mentioned they might bin me. Bleugh.

The whole purpose of contracting is to work when and where you like.
You have a gap because you got lost in the amazon or kidnapped.
Actually your new child kidnapped you.. so what.
I guess the interviewers mom had no gap on her CV when he was born.
