SC - Just a thought, when there is a slight drop like that then it levels out... could that be because everyone jumps on and therefor that makes it stay up???
If only. Almost went in on Gold at $750 but chickened out. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Stuck in sterling still as too scared to do anything with it

Same here, but probably worse. My house selling loot is still sitting in a low interest bank account, as I'd hoped I might have found a safe place to put it by now. I might just as well stick it in ING and get a miserly 3% or whatever it is they pay and wait for inflation and the pound's collapse to erode it further.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Sounds painfully familiar. Got the loot stashed in several "high interest" account (no laughing please.) With house prices rising I am really getting it in the neck from Mrs Ferret. Still I like it in the rented house so not bothered about buying again at the minute.

According to an estate agent, prices will rise 20%, so I'd buy now whilst they are still cheap as chips.
