Funny how the global warming threads always result in a gurning village idiots convention. They seem drawn to the subject like moths to a flame.

    Hard Brexit now!

Very interesting video, thanks for posting, and it's so sad to learn that he croaked it less than a year after that Google talk. Still at least his work going on.

He made some cracking good quips too, including:

It might not be economic, but it is really good science. We spent billions of dollars [on other fusion devices]...and what we learnt about them is that they are no damn good.

Doesn’t sound like much on my watch [regarding microsecond confinement], but from the point of view of electrons is steady-state - they don’t know any better.

This thread is about the threat to beer that the possibility of Global Warming presents.

        So stop hijacking it.

I think the bigger threat to beer, and food supply in general, is presented by companies like Monsanto.

Had to laugh the other morning: BBC said crops failed because of drought, CNN said crops failed because of rain, whereas the truth is the crops have grown really quite well, which could be seen on the video from both reports, it's just that they just didn't produce any seed, due to some fsck-up in the GM processing (to three seed varieties no less, some fsck-up eh?). Monsanto has already agreed substantial compensation payouts ... to those that paid for the seed. But most small farmers got it for free and were told to plant it under threat, so they get to starve, or complain and get shot.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
threadeds website, and here's my blog.

Limitless clean cheap (?) energy; should ensure that there is never a shortage of hops again!

This thread won't be complete till Dim Prawn comes on to tell us that the earth hasn't got warmer at all recently (whether due to humans or not).

You know sas, the whole GW argument might appear to be significantly more cogent if it were not being championed so vociferously by jellyheaded beanheads like you. You might want to keep shtoom and appear to be idiotic rather than slavering all over your keyboard and proving it beyond doubt!!

Really SB, I think all your posts can be summarised by this:

Never in the field of human history has anyone else used so many words to say absolutely fook all.

This myopic obsession with "Global Warming" is going to kill millions of people. Lets give people medicines, clean water and education and then worry about a 0.0000001 deg c temp rise.
