It must be Gordon Brown's economic miracle finally kicking in, I always thought he was a great leader and will silence many of the cynics and non-believers on this forum.

btw where I am there are no windows and the walls and floor are cushioned, they make me wear a white 'waist coat' with the sleeves inter-twined.

Oh I still think that will happen, but it appears if you talk the markets up they stay up, so "I think we will be ok".

US off between 1.5% and 2% and the same in Europe.

I thought that this would actually happen next week when US comes back to work.
