They're a fashion statement that's become popular over the last decade or so, I fully expect them to go out of fashion, but they're far from simple to erase.

Apparently, a friend of mine who is a tatooist said that you can get invisible tats nowadays, using special ink. He wasn't kidding either.

it's just difficult to stop, once you have one... they are addictive and I am running out of places to have them that I can hide!

Totally agree, i've got tats in various places and keep occasionally adding to them. Why? I don't know.

I've always kept them hidden on my shoulders, arms and t1t but the last one was a fairly large one down the back of my neck that is plainly visible (and hurt!!). I too think chav whenever i see a tattooed bloke or lass but don't see myself that way.

Chavvy! How can the below be considered chavvy when combined with my shaved head and Burberry cap? Class, that's what it is (anyone thinking of having one in the location below, it hurts and takes a long time). Granted, the **** across the knuckles was a bad move.
