I liked most of the stories but Slaine and Rogue Trooper were fav's.
Didn't care much for a story called Torquemada tho' as I always thought it was badly drawn and too complicated.
Still going strong. Torquamada was a charecter in Nemesis The Warlock.

Actually he did, once. The face that ended up being drawn was so far from what they wanted that they put in a "Censored" panel where you should have seen his face and it never happened again.

The best comic book series I've read to date though was "The Adventures of Luther Arkwright" Written and drawn by Bryan Talbot.

        Exceptional stuff.

another memorable but now defunct one from that era was Toxic. Had some really good stories in it, as well as some dross, but sadly went bust after about a year.

Glenn Fabry of Slaine did some covers for Steve Dillions Preacher a while back and his new stuff (Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman is also great)
WOW - I may be spending some time in the garage this weekend digging mine out.

"Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman is also great" - I loved that book - has it been comicised now?

Nah, you're all right thanks. They go for about 10p each, so make it a grand and they're yours.

I do. Saturday afternoons were regularly spent hanging around in Forbidden Planet, followed by a trip to Orc's Nest. Or vise versa.
