Join a gym/squash league/tennis league and get down there at least three times a week. You'll be fit and too tired to get bored. You'll also meet new people and this will keep your spirits up.
Buy the the Daily Mail and do the puzzles page. That keeps me busy and brain active for hours, especially with the cryptic crossword and sudoku.Comment

Dunno why people bother with the library. We have 2 bookshops in town, so I alternate between them. I did get kicked out of a bookshop a couple of years back for reading the same book for too long, so I only read half a chapter at a time nowadays.
Mind you don't end up on "H£ir Hunt£rs" which is one of my favourite telly programmes to break up the morning.Comment

are you married?cook the wifey something nice
if not, invite some friends around for a curry and beers
if no mates and no partner then you really need to go out more and meet people as this makes CUK (i.e Wilmslow, Sas, AtW) your friends, now come on you can do better than that.. think of a hobby, build a really complicated model plane or do some DIY.The proud owner of 125 Xeno Geek PointsComment
