Oh, the temptation. To just sit in the sun and get rat-faced every day. I'm not strong in the face of sweet oblivion at the best of times.
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

I shall take you up on that. Thank you.

      (I'd vote for "NinjaLike".)

Another day, another kick in the teeth by the pimps. No, that's not right.

We've got a removals man coming today at 9 a.m. to give us a quote. 9 a.m.? What sort of time is that?

So I'm up, washed, scrubbed and dressed already. Amazing, huh?

My experiment to see if I can grow a beard yet is all but complete. It appears I nearly can. There's still a bald bit just above my Adam's Apple. And now, what beard there is is half ginger, half grey. <sigh>

Mind you, my hair is now below the bottom of my collar. By September I'll be able to go to interviews with a pony tail in a rubber band and look more techie than PM. I haven't had hair this long since I was benched in 2001/02.

Right then, time to check my emails, hit Jobserve, leave messages for agents and sit staring at the 'phone, willing it to ring...

Top tip: Channel 4, 1:35pm, The Gunfighter ( 1950, B/W ) starring Gregory Peck, a good use of bench time without doubt.

He must have thought the same. Still waiting...

Are you looking for contract or permy - or both?
