As a guess, the IQ=150 mark is either 1% or 2% of the adult population.Originally posted by BlackenedBiker View PostHave a guess how many people with an IQ of +150 there are in Britain???

Guessing the population to be about 55 million, and guessing the adult population to be about 3/4ths of that = 41.25 million and so either:
400,000 or 800,000 depending on whether it is 1% or 2%.My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment

From Wikipedia:
Mensa's only requirement for membership is that one score at or above the 98th percentile on certain standardized IQ tests, such as the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales. Because different tests are scaled differently, it is not meaningful to compare raw scores between tests, only percentiles. For example, the minimum accepted score on the Stanford-Binet is 132, while for the Cattell it is 148.Good luck.Originally posted by BlackenedBiker View PostAnswer will be posted later....My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment
