Give us more of a clue .. there's lots of one things, but depending on your taste depends on what they are (World class galleries and museums, theatre, history, touristy, markets etc).

Sorry, but hard to give an answer to that without more clues.

I just want to be a tourist for a day or two...

Avoid all 'touristy-ish' parts of London unless you need a miniature guardsman in a sentrybox, toy London bus or plastic Union Jack Bowler hat. The Natural History, Science and V & A museums are good (if you're into that sort of thing).

Ok - but I want a bit of tacky stuff too!

London Eye or if you don't mind spending a few quid try the champagne bar at the top of the Natwest Tower its called 'Vertigo 42', great views and its open on a Sat evening as well now, you have to book though to get in the bar and you get 2hrs slot worth it though. http://www.vertigo42.co.uk/
