Lots of people die from flu every year, it is tragic but they were likely really ill in the first place and flu simply finished them off.

This will become a reason for concern if it starts killing people who are not suffering from underlying conditions such as:
    • respiratory complaints
    • cardiac complaints
    • renal complaints
    • hepatic complaints

Late pregnancy and obesity are also 'at-risk' factors as well as they both place a strain on the respiratory system.

Taking respiratory complaints, there are an estimated 5 million sufferers of Asthma in the UK. If only 1 in 5 die, which surely must be a strong possibility, we are looking at a million deaths.

          Assuming 100% infection rate, obviously.

It's inevitable that almost 100% will catch swineflu. HMG estimates are that 100,000 a day will be getting it by August.
We have major proportions of the population mixing together day to day, which includes a working population of almost 30 million which will inevitably be the major driver, and then of course school children, people going to football matches and other major gatherings.
The only people that won't catch it will be hermits, and some very careful OAPs.

Bollocks, but I can't be arsed to educate you. Go and read the WHO website and stop spouting alarmist bollocks.
