I don't know - I have never... nor will I ever... read any Harry Potter!

I am a grown man... I read grown up books....

Don't anyone come back trying to convince themselves that Harry Potter is a book for grown ups.... even if they give it a new cover!

All the Drewsterettes are old enough to read for themselves.....
and I have (willingly) purchased said books for them.........

I have discussed Harry Potter with them when they read it/them..... none of them particularly rate HP much... they all read them (and saw the films) more because "everyone is/has".....

How would you know if you didn't read any? FWIW, the books are clearly targeting older audiences as they progress... quite possibly in sync with the first readers as they themselves got older.

Besides, get off your high horse. Read what you enjoy.

I enjoy childrens books just as much as adult ones, I have no problem with reading stuff aimed at kids - never have.
And yes I do enjoy Harry Potter
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

Simply because everything else has dropped so much?

Or, IT can still be in the top 10 by itself - the jobs are not necessarily going to brits are they?
