Do you seriously believe that an agent would do something for free??

    Again, what are you like?

You said all agents get paid "just to advertise roles".

Clearly talking out of your arsehole.

Have to say, despite my giving les pimp a hard time, I do rather agree with minestrone here.

Both wrong- pimps are paid to advertise ICT only roles, only ICT's get a look in and there is no 'real' role for you. However you interpret this, the net result is the same, no contract for you.

Feel free to be pedantic and as naive as you like!¬

Is ICT abuse only going to affect contractors then - I would have thought permies will be at risk too?

If so then the long term outlook for unemployment within IT will effectively kill the UK industry off, in the meantime...

                    ..lots of unemployed people
                    ......reduced spending
                    ........companies start to lose money
                    ...........more layoffs
                    .............no money for housing
                    ................falling house prices
                    ...................reduced confidence
                    .....................a prolonged recession
                    ........................third world living conditions

So Mr PZZ (I assume you are a Mr?) - what is your theory about how this decline is broken, or do you think it cannot be broken? Are we all doomed to live in third world conditions, whether in this country or even if we emigrate to India?

PS BrilloPad - I'm not taking sides, just asking a question !

He wil come on and tell us we deserve it all "'cos we cost too much", then he will try and tell us that he is a contractor.
