If you haven't watched The Wire, I highly recommend it. That's 60 hours worth right there.Originally posted by TonyEnglish View PostI'm working away at the moment and so I'm getting through DVD's at a rate of knots. Do you lot have any recommendations of decent films to 'borrow' off the internet. Obviously I've prtty much done all the well known recent ones so it's the more obscure films that I'm after. Not interested in porn either as that can be got easily enough.
Films: The Taking of Pelham 123; Blazing Saddles; Airplane 1&2Comment

Some good movies – not too obscure but not hyped as your usual summer blockbuster:
- Harsh Times
- Fan Boys
- Nine Queens
- Chopper
- Infernal Affairs trilogy
- Battle Royale
- Old Boy
- Lady vengeance
- Zatoichi
- Napolean Dynamite
- Inside Man
- Clerks 1 and 2
I guess you could also get series…for comedies I recommend “Arrested Development” and “Curb your enthusiasm”Comment

Ditto. Also, Generation Kill, Band of Brothers, The West Wing (all 7 series) are all worth your time.Originally posted by interested View PostIf you haven't watched The Wire, I highly recommend it.
