You are kidding aren't you. If there is torrential rain or the fix is in then maybe that might happen. -
still wouldnt bet against an Aussie win yet. We have a tradition of throwing it all away. We will collapse in the second and it will all be down to the Aussies to survive for 2 days or chase the runs.Originally posted by Jet Setter View PostYou are kidding aren't you. What is the weather forecast for a draw?I am not qualified to give the above advice!

I think that there's a little bit of rain around but not enough to prevent a result.

Harmisson....picked for his bowling....bowls the grand total of 24 balls in the entire innings.
Am I missing something here, or did we just think it would be rather fun to go into a test match with 10 players? Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment

That's a little unfair. Broad was on fire this afternoon and hrmison wasn't really required. Had the aussie innings lasted more than 2 sessions he would have played his part.Originally posted by PM-Junkie View PostHarmisson....picked for his bowling....bowls the grand total of 24 balls in the entire innings.

Can't we just let the Aussies surrender now with some dignity? This is getting a bit embarrassing now.Guy Fawkes - "The last man to enter Parliament with honourable intentions."Comment

No !
This is the perfect opportunity to rub the Aussies noses in it. Bat all day today, declare, and then knock them over again. No team has ever chased a total like this before at the oval.
The pitch is falling apart and we'll have two whole days to bowl them out
I'm going to enjoy this

I like the cut of Trott's jib. That could be four Saffers in England's top six this winter. Two more to find.Comment
