Cyberman is entitled to his views, and he does raise interesting and thought-provoking posts. Whether you agree with them or not is not the point. He makes an effort to contribute.
There are plenty of others who do not, and resort to childish postings about n**ks, baiting others, calling them names, and other such unpleasantness.
If anything, they are more deserving of the Ignore List than Cyberman ever will be.
Anyway, it's not necessarily his viewpoint I disagree with, LG, Xog and many others come from a similar political outlook. It's just that he's a complete moron. I lost count of how many times he's posted incredibly weak arguments or stated false facts, or makes up stuff based on hearsay. Which he completely ignores when you correct him ...
Then he seems to take a great deal of pleasure in others misfortune, and every now and then crosses a line into completely revolting comments (The comparison between rape in SA and the British economy was particularly vile). Yet he also posts that he's scared to tell of his neighbour for putting his bins out early .. I mean FFS - he's a classic example of a big brave lad on an internet forum who wouldn't say boo to a goose in RL.Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith

Can't say I have read all his posts but I do not see these terrible far right rantings he is accused of. The shrill and closed mind ranting and abuse is on the other side. I'm amazed that some of the worst comes from two normally reasonable chaps.

I would retort, but in doing so, I would demean myself.
No wonder CUK is about a friendly to newcomers as the KKK welcoming Jesse Jackson to their ranks.
At this rate, the demise of CUK will be well deserved.Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

And CUK's been exactly the same since I joined 6 years ago, I don't ever remember it being friendly to newcomers and why should it be? In that respect it's exactly the same as when I joined 6 years ago.Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith

CUK's undoing will be when it becomes friendly. It is a bear pit, always has been and hopefully always will be. If you want "friendly" join the Jehovah's Witnesses.
