A GP on a bus drivers salary would be deemed no longer to be a parasite in my book, assuming the bus driver is not also overpaid. This thread is not about demeaning bus drivers though, who provide an essential public service and have to put up with awkward customers and traffic conditions. You can have a go at dentists though if you wish.

Is a Polish bus driver who works here and earns more than a Polish doctor who stays at home tending to a leper hospital a parasite?

I still find it amazing that this doughnut can call a doctor a parasite. Why do I just know that he would never have the balls to say that to one's face?

Time to stop feeding this troll I think. Personally, I'd like to knock him though a wall.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus

I think that all IT contractors should all be on no more than 40k/year as well. While we are about it, the guy that reads the gas meter - 20 quid a month max.

Given the opportunity, would modern medicine do that to entire economies too? Is that what you want? Or is it time we saw the medical profession for what it really is, and that is a parasitic organsim populated by grossly overpaid, egotistical scumbags who just want all your money, a big pension, house and early retirement? And a yacht?

Wouldn't it be better if medical professionals were paid the same as a bus driver, much like in Cuba, or perhaps modern medical practise replaced by cheaper and equally effective Voodoo medicine? After all isn’t it a fact that the healthiest people are those that never see a doctor?
Good point. I feel that prescriptions create a dependancy. No need, try and avoid as much as possible, your body is an amazing machine don't pollute it unnecessarily. Let it fight its own battles more.

I will just ditch my Asthma medication then and if I get carried into hospital and asked why I decided to stop treating myself I will tell the doctor someone in the internet told me it would be OK not to take them anymore.

I suppose timberwolf using the term modern medicine is a compliment to all the doctors over the last few hundred years building up the science. If we all had the view that you get sick going to the doctors then we would still be getting leaches applied for genital warts. I am sure timberwolf will be thankful of this next time he goes down with a dose of the clap.

Gas meter readers aren't on a great deal more than minimum wage anyway.

I'm sure you think this is some kind of compelling argument.
