Well at least in Doncaster their community leaders do not behave like your lot doOriginally posted by leeperry View PostNo, you cannot say that. It is what 11.75% of the people of Doncaster want.
It absolutley matters, he is an elected offical to head up a town with a budget and he doesn't know what powers he will have or what he can and can't do. It shows a basic failure of research on his part.
A turnout of 35% shows that the rest of the community did not care, but if he mucks around enough then people will.

Don't be ridiculous man! This is CUK, so jumping to (usually extreme) conclusions based on wild speculation is more the in-house style.Originally posted by Liability View Postin that case we need to search for the clues and analyse the facts
As my English teacher used to say, never let the facts get in the way of a good argument!Comment

On which planet is 11.75% a majority?. How can you think he has a mandate when so few of the electorate voted for him?Originally posted by The Lone Gunman View PostThats how it works. Majority rule and the people are allowed to elect a clueless idiot if they want to.
Each candidate offered a set of proposals and the people chose the one they liked best. That is it, end of.Comment
