Had a laugh watching the drones putting their newspapers, handbags etc. into their hand luggage, and then stuffing it into the gauge just before they boarded the aircraft.

I usually go with whoever is cheapest as I'll normally only be home for a long weekend or whatever. Going in July for a long weekend and we got flights including taxes and online check in for £5! It'll cost me more to get from Manchester city centre to the airport. For £5, I'm not bothered, I'll carry my bag myself!Bazza gets caught

Yes. When I lived in the country near Paris, Ryanair Beavais-Prestwick was a much better way of getting back to Scotland than schlep-to-CDG, fly to London, change at Heathrow, fly to Glasgow. In those days Beauvais didn't have such a high opinion of itself, and you could just park your car outside the terminal for the weekend. Then they made you park in a field. Then they made you park in a field and pay 22€ per day to do it. Enough.Comment

Over the years I used Ryanair on mnay occasins to commute from Glasgow Prestwick to
1) Brussels
2) Rome
3) Paris
4) Barcelona
None of my flights were ever cancelled nor delayed (one flight to Brussels was diveretd when a passnger had a heart attack- which is perfectly understandable ) .
I have to cancel on flight due to a bereavement and that was re-imburssed.
On one occasion I was 10 minutes late for the Paris flight - Ryanair staff manged to get me on the plane anyway .
I found them to be excellent value and reliable.Last edited by AlfredJPruffock; 24 June 2009, 14:58.Comment

Only flown Gatwick to Dublin once, no issues to report.
I suppose you pays your money and takes your choice.
How much money you pay and how much choice you get is up to you.
