I think GOT sums up the feeling in the country.

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Hearing on the news there what he actually said in the interview he sounds like a man that hates is job. When I am in a really crap gig I think "I could just give this all up, cash buy a small house and never have to work again" and he sound exactly the same.

He hates it because everybody can see how incompetent he is, but he loves the trappings of power though, and will certainly not give it up easily, which is very sad for the country who will have to suffer another year of ever increasing debt so that he can blame cuts on the Tories.

Ooops.. that's another 1 Billion pounds added to debt in the last two days...

The problem with you is that you are completely crap at trolling, I would doubt more than 5% of this board would vote labour but you continually troll for labour voters and nobody ever takes you up. You are like a child shouting "look at me, I have something to say" in a deaf school.

Not at all. I'm simply explaining why he does not hate the job and why he will remain, which happens to differ with the views of many posters, it appears.

Perhaps the fact that I get some attention for my logical and well-informed views makes you somewhat jealous and prone to you stupid outbursts.

Look up 'compassion' in a dictionary.

Well, he showed a lot of compassion when he abolished the 10% tax rate didn't he, that badly affected millions of low paid people, and when he made decisions in 1997 that totally screwed up pensions for millions of future pensioners.

Apologies for saving my compassion for more deserving cases.

Your mother should have shown this board compassion and used a coathanger and a bottle of surgical spirits.

Sorry, but he gets none from me. He's f***ed up my pension, my country's economy, and everything else he touches because the arrogant tw@t thought he knew best and would not accept that he was ever wrong.

and practically every labour backbencher knows *they're* going down then too, which is why he's as secure as the Rock of Gibraltar in staying PM until next year, daft rumours on Guido's blog notwithstanding.
