Public sector borrowing for the past two months just announced on BBC news is 30 Billion pounds.
This is just incredible and shows the mess that Labour have got us in.
Extrapolate that for the next two years and that is a debt of 360 Billion pounds. Add interest payable and also the fact that the situation could well get worse as Labour deny spending cuts and it could well run into over 500 Billion over those two years.
To further put this into perspective, remember that the Tories were panned for economic incompetence in 1992 when Britain dropped out of the ERM at a cost of 7 Billion pounds which at the time was deemed exhorbitant. My, how that seems such a pittance after so many years of economic mismanagement under the current incumbents.
