I feel the same way about sprouting broccoli
I'm reasonably confident sprouting broccoli are not even closely related to baby sheep.

Broccoli is a woofty poofty vegetable for women who eat too much muesli and men who can't appreciate a fine, upstanding vegetable like cauliflower.

I like most vegetables too, but broccoli are just a waste of space; they fill a gap that isn't there between curly kale and cauliflower.

I like fresh peas personally, although they're very difficult to buy in Holland for some reason.

                      That's called Stamppot Boerenkool.

Some people in the English speaking world call kale 'borecole'; probably derived from the Dutch 'boerenkool'.
