    Ah, you mean DAVID Blanchflower.

DANNY Blanchflower was the whimsical Spurs captain when they won the double.

If double-winning captains are economic gurus, I wonder what Roy Keane thinks?

For what it is worth I do not agree that you haave to post a comment on quoted posts.
I was quite happy with the first 40 or so. After that I find them a tad tedious. Maybe it is just me?

But I have to admit it was an easy call. When an economy is based on froth, it's easy to "re-froth" it so to speak. Germany is suffering because it had a real economy to lose in the first place.

          HTH.

Are you sure about that - as I recall the majority were saying that the UK was dead on its feet - Sterling would be parity with the Euro - (its now 1.18 and rising ) and that the UK would not only be the last out the recession but would have to go to the IMF.

Mind you I do have a bit of a crystal ball so I do have advantage.

I would not rule out a 'W' shaped recovery and a visit to the IMF. We still have another year of the former brilliant chancellor to suffer !!

No return to boom and bust

Who coins it off Bank of England interest rates? And with interest rates so low, is government revenue less too? Ignore inflation as that is just an made up word.

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I have never been diagnosed with mental health issues or stalked anyone, I'd say in comparison to that anyone is pretty normal. Anyway, Who are you to tell me what's mental, you live on an internet site!

You want to be careful of that mate of yours!
