Must admit though, can't warm to Murray. McEnroe had charisma and Murray is utterly charmless in that special way that only certain Scotts can manage.Comment

Personally I'll support any British competitor or British team on the world stage, excepting the English rugby team, because they are such utter twunts.
But at this rate I may have to reconsider. I find it rich English going on about how the Scots hate them, when as far as I've experienced down here and even on this board it's just as bad on the English side.Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith

Walking down lothian road at the weekend bright blue sky terrific day. The tourists are starting to come out in they're droves. Festival fever is building up you can feel it. I looked up towards Edinburgh castle and union jack stood alone fluttering in the gentle breeze. Pride and anger is all I felt, pride that I know this united kingdom will not be broken up, because exactly that, the majority of us stand united in a way the minority could not understand. I'm proud to be part of a united kingdom it shows the rest of the world something to strive for, unity. To those small number of individuals who hide here in obscurity.... oblivion awaits."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.
