A bit? Got to admire the chutzpah of building a reputation as a technological guru entirely on his inability to get his PC to work.

He had a house full of PCs he couldn't get to work and gave them stupid names like Big MooCow and so on. He knew nothing about computers - he was a sci-fi author (Larry Niven).
