What I am advocating is strong pressure on the mad mullahs not to produce nuclear weapons. Failing that a few tomahawks and cruise missiles on their nuclear facilities coupled with some bunker buster bombs should do the trick. Please note I am not advocating a ground war just a few surgical strikes.
Yes but what if Iran already has nuclear capablity, your suggestion would then lead to the immediate destruction of Israel as they would certainly launch everything they have at Israel.

We must beware of the USA fundamentalists who are attempting to engineer a holocaust in the Middle East to realise their pathetic Rapture beliefs.

Have to agree with Chico on this one

I have no particular affinity for Israel either, but at least they are not trying to make me walk down the street with my head covered and me looking like a black letter box

Personally I think the Iran president is just playing a game with those comments. Gets him kudos at home, and at the same time, outrages the west with a few ambassadorial summons which makes the west look strng, after which any conciliatory attitude from Iran will be seen as a western victory while Iran has not conceded anything at all. Win-win situation for Mr President.
      Chico, what time is it?

Why do you not call for surgical strikes against Israel for the same reasons?

Isael has always had problem with Iran and Iran has always has a problem with Israel. Why the feck should we in the West be planning an attack on either one of them? What exactly has similar unilateral action in Iraq achieved? Nothing except needless murder and sufferring for millions IMO.

You have to be one of the most un-christian-like person I have ever encountered Chico.

I think Rebecca has hit the nail on the head. I think you are all getting a bit carried away with this and it would be foolhardy for Israel to take any of it seriously. Arab politics is often full of bravado.

So who exactly has asked you to cover your head? Are you not free to do as you wish? Is there really any risk of the Iranian president forcibly managing your warbrobe? It's madness I swear.

What's all this tree hugging business? You seem to get confused between decent of the the war in Iraq and hostility with Iran. Iraq was a waste of time and life. Iran is a completely different issue.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

well if the mad mullahs of north london had their way, I'd have to change my dress code sharpish, I guess. In fact I might not be allowed out of the house at all. A woman working? Outside? Unmarried in her 20s? Her own bank account? You're having a bubble! Lock her up!

Chico, did god create the world and the human race for us to rape pillage and destroy as we see fit?

The irony is RL that the problem facing the women of Iraq whom previosuly under the Secular Baathists did not wear the veil and could persue their own careers , but now as Iraq becomes an Islamic republic are being forced into being subservient and giving up their jobs.

Perhaps now you might see that the Iraq War was flawed insofar as womens rights have been sadly diminshed.
