Neighbour update – has she gone too far??

In fairness only a couple of small splashes on the windscreen which I have dealt with.

The point being I had a few days off work, wanted to use the time to paint my house, neighbour on holiday without telling me so I could not ask for access rights which I have anyway. Tried to tell her folks who refused to talk to me. Sanded paint, primed and painted with no mess whatsoever, used dust sheets, so they have noting to complain about.

A few weeks ago I went round to clear the gutters and she was very confrontational. Hence I was pleased when she was away when I wanted to paint this time as it would have been mega drama.

Think she is traumatised at me being in her drive, she used to be noisuly in the garden clattering away - since back she is reclusing in the house, which gives me peace. Until she flips and comes beating the door down because the laurel hedge is not giving off any old leaves to throw over the fence!

It sounds like you live next door to a "vexatious litigant". She/they will file legal proceedings for even the most minor and trivial thing. A mate of mine went through the same thing a few years back. They thrive on it, while making others' lives a misery.

TBH I'd move.

I fear you are right. Eg, throwing leaves from my hedge at the front over my back fence.

On my side though, if I have rights of access for maintenance to my wall and roof eaves, and they lock a gate to the side of the house and go on holiday without telling me how long away for, and leaving me with no key, and gate is small, surely I have a legal right to use the holidays I have reserved for painting the eaves, especially as there is no paint marks or any sanded paint left from scrupulous use of dust-sheets?

I did try to have a chat with her dad who was looking after house in their absence but he refused to talk to me. So, I did try!

No idea where the liking small children thing comes from - I am half tempted to log this comment with the police as this is slanderous. I happen to be a counsellor for a national childrens helpline, this really does disturb me, despite knowing she is just a bonkers wench with no life!

You may have right to access for maintenance, it doesn't mean you should enter someone's property without asking and then cover their car with paint. All done while they are on holiday. No wonder they have the hump with you. I'd be seriously p1ssed off in the same situation

I just don't understand why he has such an effect on all his neighbours. He must have done something to offend them
