Expensive contractors, take responsibility for your work!
I wrote it to spec. I tested it to spec. Just because the spec doesnt match the requirement is not my fault.
I will gladly fix the requirement, spec and code so that it actualy works, but it will cost you.
I can't decide if you are taking the piss or are actually serious...but here's a friendly word of advice. You can delegate authority, you can't delegate responsibility. At the end of the day, if it's your project, it's your responsibility.
When I write a functional specification for an ABAP program ,I expect
the programmer to at least test the selection criterea and output criteria,which most of these offshore guys don't. If I only want to select
a certain range of data I don't expect the report to select the whole range.
Its my job to test the quality of data as to whether it meets my business requirements.
